Diagnostic Laboratory

Diagnostic lab

A diagnostic laboratory is a setting where tests are carried out on clinical specimens to obtain information about a patient's health. Here's what it typically involves:
01. Variety of Tests:
Our diagnostic lab carries out varoius tests like blood tests and urine tests. In the context of diabetes, we would typically perform tests like fasting glucose test, postprandial glucose test, HbA1c test, etc., to diagnose or monitor the disease. Specifically, for diabetes, we also offer tests beyond typical blood glucose and HbA1c tests, such as C-Peptide tests, autoantibodies tests, and advanced lipid profiles. Always follow your doctor’s test advice in this regard.
02. Equipment:
The labs are equipped with advanced instruments that aid in the analysis of the collected specimens.
03. Trained Professionals:
Our labs are staffed with trained healthcare professionals who carry out the tests and interpret the results accurately.
04. Diagnosis and Treatment Planning:
The inputs from these tests aid doctors in diagnosing diseases, planning treatments, and monitoring progress or response to treatment.
05. Quality Standards:
These labs must meet specific quality standards and often go through stringent accreditation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of tests. We ensure periodic QC and calibration to maintain the accuracy of our reports.
